PLEI and Phi Delta Chi have partnered to establish a Travel Grant Endowment Program (TGEP). This program is designed to coordinate and collect donations which will accumulate over time in order to provide an annual award to specific ՓᐃX Collegiate chapters in perpetuity. These donations will be collected to endow restricted funds that will support ՓᐃX Collegiate chapters in attending ՓᐃX national meetings (e.g., Grand Council, Leader Development Seminars).
Our goal is accumulate at least a $25,000 minimum endowment for each active collegiate chapter and/or Alumni chapter. These endowed funds will then be used to assist Brothers from that chapter to travel to ՓᐃX meetings each year the chapter remains active. We have also established a Nationwide fund to assist Brothers who do not have an endowed fund for their specific chapter.
Congratulations to the following ՓᐃX Chapters on fully endowing their Travel Grants.
- Beta Gamma Chapter (Duquesne University) has raised over $27,000 and endowed its TGEP fund, with the first payout in Spring 2022.
- Nu Chapter’s Chad Michael Memorial Scholarship (University of Iowa College of Pharmacy) is now fully endowed and received is first payout in Spring 2025.
- A special Nationwide TGEP was established to assist chapters at the discretion of the ՓᐃX Executive Council and received its first payout in Spring 2025.
The following chapters are actively seeking donations to fully endow their TGEP Funds:
- Omega Chapter from the University of Tennessee is steadily working toward endowing its Pleasants-Tucker Scholarship.
- Alpha Iota Chapter at the University of Georgia has established a fundraising campaign to support their collegiate students.
